The Cairnie, Arbroath

The site of the former Cairnie Pub in Arbroath was purchased and developed as a joint venture between Moir Construction and Fotheringham Property Developments of Inverbervie.

The development was passed with planning permission for 35 x 2 bedroomed flats. Phase 1 of this was developed as a joint venture but was carried out at a time when the banking crisis kicked in and property sales were particularly slow. Phase 1 was completed but Moir Construction bowed out of this development prior to phase 2 being developed. This whole development was completed 2014/15.

The flats were designed and built using Scotframe Timber Engineering.
